Recruitment

The Omega Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta believes recruitment to be one of the most important and exciting times!

There are countless reasons to join a sorority, but here are some of the biggest benefits:

  • You’re going to be a part of a remarkable community where you’ll learn and grow throughout your college years.
  • You’re going to meet a lot of people, both inside and outside the Greek community.
  • You’re going to have multiple leadership opportunities in the Greek community and within the University.
  • You’re going to have support for academic success.
  • Joining a sorority is not only going to enrich your college experience; it’s going to provide you the foundation for a successful life after college. Going Greek is a big decision, but if it’s right for you, it’s one you’ll never regret you made.

Formal Recruitment takes place at the beginning of the Fall semester and allows us to showcase our amazing Gamma Phi Beta sisterhood. Our favorite part is welcoming home our newest members on Bid Day with hugs, smiles and fun festivities!

Gamma Phi Beta practices Continuous Open Recruitment which means that our chapter may host other recruitment events throughout the school year. For more information about recruitment, continuous open recruitment or our new member program please contact Liz S. eas@iastate.edu (Formal Recruitment) or Lindsa M. linds4@iastate.edu(Continuos Open Recruitment) for more information.
