Homecoming
Homecoming is a time for past and present members of the ISU community to celebrate their loyalty for Iowa State University. Gamma Phi Betas participate in all of the Homecoming activities including Yell-Like Hell, painting of Victory Lane and Welch Ave. store front windows, community service and lawn display. Gamma Phis also have leadership roles on Homecoming Central to ensure the weekend is full of fun festivities. Homecoming 2010 found us paired with the men of Farmhouse and Theta Chi fraternities.

Varieties
Varieties is a student produced skit displaying various musical talents. Each year Gamma Phi pairs with other members of the Greek Community to create a unique skit.
VIESHEA
VIESHEA has been celebrated at Iowa State since 1922. It honors the university’s original colleges: Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Industrial Science, Home Economics and Agriculture. It is a weekend honoring Iowa State’s past and future role as a great academic institution. College open houses, Stars Over VEISHEA and the great VEISHEA parade are some of the time-honored festivities.
Did you know that many Gamma Phis work behind the scenes to help VEISHEA run smoothly? Our ladies hold leadership positions on the VEISHEA Excutive Board and VEISHEA Committies. Their leadership is found in the VEISHEA Village, Campus and Community Involvement, Tournaments, Public Relations, Special Events and Campus Showcase.
Greek Week
Greek Week is a week long celebration at the end of March or early April. It consists of tournaments, Academic Recognition Night, Lip Sync, Polar Bear Plunge, and Greek Olympics. This is one of Gamma Phi’s favorite times of year where we work together as sisters in friendly competition to succeed in tug-of-war, pie-eating contests, canoe races and many more.
